The overall layout of this hydraulic system is rather straightforward and ships on four boxes. It uses one central hydraulic pump box equipped with a powerful weather-resistant marine pump and motor, which also comes with a tough ABS plastic cover that you can trim to your liking. This central pump design helps save space while still easily powering the four powder-coated cylinders capable of listing 8,000 lbs. Each cylinder offers a generous 13" stroke and comes with 100 square inch "Bigfoot" pads. These pads are powder coated and created out of thick, heavy-duty steel, giving them great strength and durability, while their large size helps ensure secure ground contact during operation, even on uneven terrains. The black powder coating on the cylinders, pads, and other steel components helps enhance the durability of this system, as it gives vulnerable metal components extra resistance to rusting and corrosion.
This specific model of Bigfoot Hydraulic RV Leveling System is designed for 2007-2018 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 Cutaway chassis models, installed using a patented bolt-on installation, so no frame welding is required.
