This Expion360 battery is a 12V battery with 162 amp hours in it. It can easily be wired in parallel to add more amp hours to your setup. This battery cannot be wired in series, it is only meant for parallel wiring. It has a vertical heat conduction (VHC) system that helps to keep the battery warm and functioning in colder climates. It also features two different communication methods. It can be CAN bus wired to a monitoring system for a physical connection. For those that like things a little more modern, it also has Bluetooth capabilities that allow you to check the status of your batteries from your phone through the Expion360 app. In addition to a heat system and two comm systems, this battery comes with a battery management system (BMS) that provides several protections to your battery, including voltage protections and short circuits, as well as cell balancing.
This has a long battery life of more than 4000 cycles at 1C. The housing is a sturdy ABS plastic that will keep your battery cells protected. The housing measures 10.2” x 7.1” x 10.9” and weighs roughly 39 pounds. It is compatible with Expion360 parts EX-TDS001, EX-CA201, and EX-CA202. Because Expion360 believes in their batteries, they’ve included a 12 year manufacturer warranty that you can read more about in the manual.
