Sturdy, Reliable ConstructionOur external ladder is designed to provide you with sturdy support you can trust and rely on. Our external RV ladder is designed to attach directly to the side of your rig using the built-in steel folding mounting brackets, preventing the ladder from slipping and sliding off of your RV as you climb up. Our ladder is built with a sturdy, rigid design that prevents wiggling and wobbling, providing you with a solid ladder that gives you confidence as you climb.
The ladder's sides are inserted through the edge of each step, and the end of each step is covered with a rigid plastic end cap. A Philips head screw is driven through the end cap of the step and the side of the ladder, firmly securing the ladder side and step together. This external RV ladder is mainly built using rust and corrosion-resistant materials, high-grade heavy-duty aluminum metal with an all-around wall thickness of 0.093", and powder-coated steel. The strong materials and solid design of this external RV ladder give it a safe maximum weight capacity of up to 250lbs and has been tested at three times that weight limit.
Convenience In Ladder FormThe RecPro Low Profile Collapsible Exterior Ladder is more than just a climbing tool that offers robust and sturdy support. It is highly convenient to use as well! Our lightweight ladder takes very little time or effort to install. However, it should be noted that installation tools and hardware (such as screws) are not included. A separate roof segment is optional with this ladder, which installs directly to the roof of your rig to give you extra leverage and security when climbing up top.
This ladder features a collapsible, or foldable, design thanks to the steel mounting brackets. You can simply lower it down when you need to use the ladder. When the ladder is not required, you can lift it back up and lock it in using the two securing pins, allowing it to fold snugly to the side of your rig. This foldable/collapsible design is quite useful, as it eliminates the need to break down your ladder and find suitable storage space after using it.
